THE 20TH ANNUAL BARNSLEY VILLAGE GARDEN FESTIVAL WILL TAKE PLACE ON 17TH MAY 2008

Barnsley Village is set in the heart of the Cotswolds, three miles from the historic town of Cirencester, ("the heart of the Cotswolds").
From 1548 the village was owned by the Bouchier family; today, it remains on the old Roman route from Cirencester to Oxford; along with a population of 150, it has a Church, a pub (famous for great food), and an accredited Hotel - The Barnsley House Hotel, (former residence of Rosemary Verey OBE, VMH), famous for its wonderful gardens.
The Barnsley Village Garden Festival enjoys its 20th year in 2008 to be held on the 17th May. (Further details on the Festival page)
In addition to many other activities and attractions on the day,The Dobbies Garden World "Best Village garden" Cup will be judged & presented by Mr & Mrs Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen to the winner on the day of the Festival -
